Meditation
If we take the time to listen to our inner voice, we create the possibility of hearing or knowing inspiration, insight, creativity, truth, answers, and peace. Did you ever go on a “vacate-tion”, where you vacate your everyday life, relationships, responsibilities, and routines? During that time, once restlessness fades away, you create a space in your being for the allowance of what it is you have been seeking, ignoring, or needing. It may be as simple as sleep or as complex as finding the answer to a persistent problem. The result of allowing this voice within to be heard can be a state of peace, rest, the arrival of inspiration, or a myriad of responses that will help you to begin to move forward. You can achieve this state through meditation practice. A very simple and effective meditation you can do at any time you need to get centered is focusing on your breath.
Guided Meditation
Meditation which is guided is a story in which you are led along a journey to allow for a silencing of mental chatter that exists within your mind. During the guided meditation, you may follow along with every step of the journey, float away from the sound of the meditation guidance, or go in and out with awareness.
