Right on the heels of the surge of action the Spring Equinox brought on Friday, change is in the air once again! Saturn, planet of responsibility, structure, karma and discipline, moved out of Capricorn (earth sign, self-control, practical, conserving, also represents government), this weekend after 3 years. It is now in Aquarius (air sign, humanitarian, future-oriented, tech/medical breakthroughs, revolutionary, innovative, original). We have been feeling the "tightening" of pressure of Saturn in Cap, requiring us to take control of our bodies (distancing) and conserving (food gathering or hoarding). Now, it will take control of our air: stay in your own home and breathe your own air for a bit. However, this move into Aquarius has the ability for us to access innovative solutions and eventually, medical breakthroughs. Aquarius is considered the Sage on the Mountain - isolated so that they can gather wisdom. That is our first order of business and isolated we will be. Use this time to let go of life as you know it, rest for a bit. Allow the revolutionary energy of Aquarius inspire you on how to create the future you. We are being given hints on how our future can be. What will you create? Sending much love and light - Lisa

Wow, the past 7 days have been so difficult! Grief, sadness, fear, unexpected changes, new territory. It's all about break ups, break downs, break ups and break throughs. We are nearing the end of a powerful and serious energy that is getting us to clear out. If you identify as an empath, then you have been likely looking to run for cover! It's been an overload of frequency changes, like the earth roiling under our feet as its about to release some major energy. For the Earth, global collective, nation, and personally, the shaking will continue. The best we can do is find a way to ride it through. On Monday February 17, 2020 at 7:30pm, I will offer a Violet Flame meditation in a conscious effort to channel the changes. Join me if you can! Sending much love and blessings to all! Lisa xo Heading into a Heavy Duty Week, culminating in a Full Moon and a combustion! The energy that will be most prevalent, if you have not felt it yet, is RIGIDITY. We or others will be standing our ground, digging in our heels, putting up our "dukes". This can be just what is required, or we can just be being stubborn. If you find yourself succumbing to the prevailing winds, take a breath, and sit with what is really happening. The antidote is fluidity and expression of feelings. This full moon, lunar eclipse on Friday is in free flowing Cancer and is aptly called the Wolf moon. Let your truth rise up from deep within to bring healing. Call out to your Soul tribe if you need support! Keeping my eye on the political climate, is it is demonstrating this activity all too well. Many of us do not want to see anything dangerous come of this for anyone, so we need to hold onto calming forces. May that prevail! xo Welcome Jupiter into Capricorn! We have just left the Year of Fire and have entered the Year of Earth. Time for us to remove excess, overgrown and useless roots, structures we've built and fears held in place and clear the way to manifesting the truth the year of fire revealed. We are about to get unstuck! What structures have been built that will support the integrity of your new life? What family stories do we need to be freed from? If there is anything that is not in alignment with the proper support, it will be exaggerated so that its flaws can be revealed and the roots taken out. In working with private clients the past year, I have seen that there has been a focus and preparation to enter this new level of vibrational awareness. Many will now take their lives to a whole new level! This will be exciting and truly life-changing, but with a need to release typical supports and therefore, risky. As usual, we will see this in our collective experience and the Earth, as well as our personal lives. What a week to "bring down the hammer" nationally. However, if the structure was not built properly, it will not hold. Prepare for many revelations, shifts and force! Good news - earth moves slow, so plenty of time to get it right. Bad news - earth moves slow lol! Lots of details and pondering before moves are made but when Earth moves, (think EARTHQUAKE), there is permanent and decisive change. Overall, we should be able to create something of value in the coming year. The year of fire moved so fast it was exhausting! I will be exploring this in depth on Saturday, December 14th for the Astrology Update workshop with a focus on the personal and the U.S. charts. If you would like to gain some awareness of how this is manifesting in your own life, join me! Looking forward to riding the next leg of this journey called life with you all!!! xo Lisa Last week - pivotal! You may have found yourself triggered, caught up in major traffic, exhausted and definitely have your buttons pushed as the Lord of Karma, Saturn, stopped in the sky to begin moving forward! This was followed by a response that is karmic - typical for you or others, then awareness, then the epiphany. You do NOT have to respond like you always did, as the deeper meaning is revealed. Guess what? We have been FREED from our karmic cycle. Time to set up a new way of approaching our life story. It is all changing. The past is over. Many clients I have seen over the summer have been preparing for this time! The true understanding has been accepted fully into the heart. Next stop? Solar plexus (our power center). What action will we take as we step more fully into manifesting our new truth? Pay attention to the power issues coming up, emotionally, intellectually and physically. Patience, if possible, and listening and acting with an open and mature heart will be helpful. Much love as we move towards the next stage of our development in the coming 2 weeks! Get ready, because we are poised to FINALLY get moving on the changes we have internalized over the last couple of months. I'm Ready, you say? Frustrating that we are wanting to get going but not just yet. For instance, I am singing late 80's R&B songs instead of working on my materials for Saturday! Can't sing and work at the same time (i.e., Baby Come To Me by Regina Belle - great song)! lol. Some steps forward have been taken, but we are not in the full "walk".The clock is ticking off the minutes that are taking weeks to actually happen. This week, another "click" forward which usually begins with a stall. I will be covering what is happening in each of our lives at my workshop on Saturday (9/21/19), but let's just say we are about to take another slow step forward, as a petal of Self begins to drop. In the meantime, deep breaths and do what you can -or just sing ;) . Love to you! xo
We desire change. We pray for change. We inquire with others about impending change. We want to see into the future so we know for sure, there will be change.
However, we usually want it to go a particular way. Yet when it comes... When it begins to show up, talk with us, reveal to us, poke us, implore us to change, what is our response? I know for me, although I actually have a need to experience continued "growth", I first put on the brakes. I dig in my heels. I clench my tummy. I hold onto the present with both hands. I find reasons to negotiate with change. I ask many questions to maker sure it is in line with my integrity. I take a out a microscope and focus and refocus to make sure I am seeing as much as possible. I ruminate about it. I talk with others about it. All in an effort to stave it off! As if I have any control. :0 Change stands stock still in front of me. Change continues poking around and moving things, people, ideas, and opportunities. Change packs up the boxes of my life. Change keeps moving forward no matter my fear, sadness, anxiety, excitement, or curiosity. In the end, all I can do is say "yes." There is no other response. The quicker I can actually BE a yes, the less pain involved. The less deterioration I have to sit in. The less suffocated I will feel as the oxygen of what was, is no longer. It has moved on. It is breathing life into Change. I’ve learned so much about rabbits in my nearly four years as a volunteer for the Long Island Rabbit Rescue… but I’ve learned even more about people.
I’ve observed volunteers of all ages and walks of life care for rabbits that we’ve saved from brutal neglect situations with inspiring love, yet neglect their own selves—“burning out” from taking on too much or simply not feeding and caring for themselves the way they do our foster and sanctuary rabbits. These women and men would never let a rabbit go hungry or feed a rabbit a less than balanced, nutritious diet, but they don’t take the time to nurture themselves. They make sure every foster and sanctuary rabbit gets daily exercise time to run, hop and play—but they don’t seem to prioritize themselves. As dedicated volunteers, we recognize how much these gentle creatures need us. If only we remembered that we are gentle creatures too. Sometimes we need a little treat or a softer rug to rest our paws too. For my fellow volunteers, I wish you would “cover a shift” in caring for yourself. I am so blessed to work with each of you. Please take care of you, too. That said, I’ve learned so much in these four years of giving to the abandoned and neglected rabbits of Long Island. From these fragile creatures, I’ve learned that I need space, too. Sometimes there’s nothing more blissful than tossing the task at hand to this side (for me, returning some emails, for the bunnies, a woven grass toy or cardboard tube) and flopping out for a nap.
